Donald Kerr says its time for people to change there views on privacy. No longer should we worry about collecting specific information but the safegaurds on that collected information. These comments come from the fact that Congress is evaluating the foreign surveillance intellegence act. The biggest issue in the new legislation is the debate on whether to shield telecommunications companies from civil lawsuits for allegedly giving the government access to people's private e-mails and phone calls without a court order between 2001 and 2007. |
